Certification process in Colaianni Speech Work (The Joy of Phonetics and Phonetic Pillows).

This certification is equally valuable to the Voice or Speech teacher. An increasing number of voice teachers are required to teach speech as a part of their normal class load. Many speech teachers seek a fresh approach to the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) and stage accents.

Requirements for certification:

• Study independently with Master teacher and creator, Louis Colaianni, for approximately 100 hours, and pass a final evaluation.
  
  
• Be familiar with the pedagogy outlined in "The Joy of Phonetics and Accents."
  
  
• Be familiar with Linklater Voice work and Linklater's Sound & Movement.
  
  
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of the IPA and stage accents.
  
  
• Integrate Colaianni Speech work into their existing pedagogy.

Note: Certification is granted at the sole discretion of Louis Colaianni.
